System Requirements

This article describes the requirements of the client regarding hardware, operating systems and third party software. Please check the requirements thoroughly to not encounter problems during the installation or usage of the client.

1. Hardware Requirements

There is no general recommendation for the hardware requirements of the client since it all depends on the number of folders and files which have to be managed. Therefore only a rough figure can be provided.

If you manage about 1.000.000 files, the following hardware is recommended:

• Dual- or Quad-Core CPU, > 2 GHz
• 2-4 GB RAM

The client only requires about 50 MB of disk space for the program itself. The disk space for the data has to be scaled according to the expected data which should be managed by the client.

2. Software Requirements

The client works on basically every operating system which supports a recent version of the Java Runtime Environment. Nevertheless, we are testing the client constantly on numerous variations of systems to ensure that it is being supported properly and works without major flaws.
